This week's Daddy of the Week is trend- (and jet-)setting stylist Nicola Formichetti. If you don't know the name, then you've certainly seen his work. At 31, he has following credits to his name: Creative Director of DAZED & CONFUSED, Fashion Director of VOGUE HOMMES JAPAN, Senior Fashion Editor of ANOTHER MAN, and Contributing Fashion Editor at V, V MAN, ANOTHER, and ARENA HOMME PLUS. (I mean, what are YOU doing?) Nicola's also half Italian and half Japanese. Bet daddy can coooook!

If you're not following his blog, learn it and learn it well. He posts images from his own work for various clients, as well as images and videos that inspire him, whether it's MTV's Sylissimo coverage of male models, a little Donizetti mad scene shows (make me peeee, why dontcha?), or more recently, images from Nazir Mazhar's gorgeous Fall '09 presentation, which he co-styled.




Fall is months away, but this has already got me thinking about Spring/Summer looks. Can we try skin this season? Just skiiiiiin (yes, Paul, even "not sunkissed"! Fully visible or just peeking out for play. And briefs! Briefs all the way on display! I'm for sure going to live in this Romain Kremer look, also styled by Nicola.

Just SHITTING! It's that old feeling I'm dying to get back—warm breeze blowing, sand somehow stuck in your suffocation-sized Shox, the only thing keeping you cool is your fade and your freeballin'.
